Esté poema un pastor Brooks que vive en Friday Harbor,
Washington lo nos dió en 2006. Él lo escribió en enero de 2000,

With 30 deaf babies being
born in Mexico every day
(over 11,000/year)
(Margarita Mucino Adams, The Lives
of Deaf Mexicans: Struggle and Success), deafness
pervades
the Mexican society causing communication limitations. Deaf people NEED
to SEE the message, in LSM (Mexican Sign Language).
Treinte bebes sordos están nacido en Mexico diario, (mas que once mil
anualmente)(Margarita Mucino Adams, The Lives of Deaf Mexicans:
Struggle and Success), sordera
se extiende por la sociedad mexicana y limita comunicación con este
grupo. Personas sordas deben de ver el mensaje en LSM (Lengua Señas
Mexicanas).
The Mexican government officially recognized the Mexican
Sign
Language
(LSM, Lengua de Senas Mexicana) in 2003. This has opened a
door for deaf people to receive the
gospel in a language they understand.
El gobierno mexicano reconoció oficialmente el idioma Lengua de
Señas Mexicana en 2003. Este evento ha abierto una puerta para
comunicación a las personas sordas y conocer las buenas noticias en una
manera que ellos puedan entender.
Just because they lost their hearing, need they lose a
relationship with their God?
¿Solo porque ellos no pueden escuchar, es aceptable que ellos no
puedan tener una relación con Dios?
Helen Keller stated: THERE IS SOMETHING FAR WORSE
THAN NOT HAVING SIGHT, NOT HAVING ANY VISION! We have a vision
for the deaf children of
Mexico. When someone asked Helen which she felt was worse, blindness or
deafness. she replied, "Deafness, because it separates you from
people." We don't want deaf people separated from the Church,
or more importantly, from their God.
Helen Keller dijó: ¡HAY ALGO MAS PEOR QUE NO PUEDA VER, NO
TIENE
UNA VISIÓN! Nosotros tenemos una visión para
los niños sordos de
Mexico. Cuando algo persona le preguntó a Helen Keller que ella cree es
mas peor, ceguera o sordera. Ella contestó, "Sordera, porque separale
de otras personas." No queremos que personas sordas separen de la
Iglesia, o mas importante, no queremos que las separen de Dios.
The DVD above was recently directed and produced
by all Mexican deaf people for sharing the Good News with their deaf
friends all over Mexico. It uses Mexican sign language and speaks to
the hopelessness of Mexican deaf people without Jesus. This is huge!
The deaf people themselves recognizing their desperate need for Jesus
and their desire to share their love and hope in Jesus with others like
themselves. A God thing?
These DVDs cost $7.50 each, less when purchased in bulk of 100 or more.
We would love to see every deaf person in Mexico watch this video and

entienden la necesidad que ellos tienen por Jesús y tambien ellos
tienen un deseo a compartir su amor y fe en Jesús con otros sordos. Un
cosa de Dios?

mas. Nosotros deseariamos todos los méxicanos sordos a ver éste
